Job Description
This position works with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to coordinate, assemble and package customer orders for shipment.
Packages orders for shipment in accordance with CVS Specialty guidelines. Shipping orders via preferred designated courier. Responsible for maintaining the stock in the warehouse area in a clean and organized manner. Responsible for daily tracking of customer orders through the Daily Exception Report on the UPS and Fed-Ex system. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by complying with the CVS SOP’s for safety. Assists in unpacking of daily incoming med deliveries. Collaborates with other healthcare disciplines as required to coordinate delivery of product by CVS. Other duties as assigned. Must be available to work overtime hours during work week and weekends if needed.

Required Qualifications
Communicates clearly and professionally through basic reading and writing skills. Basic typing skills. Must be able to learn and utilize computer applications to communicate information, record data accurately and ship orders. Must be able to respond to inquiries from other branches or other internal customers. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to daily inventory and distribution processes. Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and instruction. This position requires solid organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and to manage time efficiently. Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk and lift for several hours at a time. This position is physically demanding.

Preferred Qualifications
6 months - 1 year minimum previous work experience in a warehouse related position with health care services preferred.
A pharmacy tech license is not required.

Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
