**This role can be a remote based role**
The Medicaid and Exchange Senior Advisor’s primary responsibility is to support our Sales and Account Service teams for Medicaid and Exchange clients in all areas that are unique to these business areas. The Senior Advisor will work with clients in states that have the most complex regulations and will support some of the largest and most visible clients in the Medicaid book of business. S/he will be responsible to ensure that any client-specific operational requirement related to Medicaid or Exchanges are compliant to all relevant standards. The Senior Advisor will work directly with Sales and Account Services teams on Medicaid and Exchange client management, supplementing account team roles where expertise on Medicaid and Exchanges is required. S/he plays a critical role in ensuring that the actions of the account teams conform to the required standards; additionally, s/he will assist in the issue management process and client communications surrounding operational issues, in particular where issues are complex and have significant regulatory requirements. The Senior Advisor will proactively identify needs associated with the assigned Medicaid and Exchange clients; for example, s/he should review reports and guide the account team in areas that require action related to these specific market segments. The Senior Advisor will also help coach and mentor other members of the Medicaid and Exchange Client Advisor team. S/he will develop and/or refine new procedures for how the team operates in order to meet the needs of clients and to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications
5 or more years knowledge and understanding of
government regulated health programs (Medicare,
Medicaid, and/or Exchanges)
Ability to dive into details and summarize key elements to
a senior audience
Experience working cross-functionally to implement
operational changes as a result of federal and/or state
policy guidance
Experience interpreting federal and/or state policy
Excellent communication skills
Proactive drive to understand and resolve issues and
proven experience working with clients to resolve issues
and minimize future risk
Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger

Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience working with Medicaid clients

Bachelors Degree required
Equivalent experience may be considered
