  • Overview

    The individual will play an important role in Commercial Information Management reporting solutions and production. The candidate will also implement analytic solutions and data strategies for the Commercial Information Management team.


    • Responsible for undergoing data analysis for report building
    • Meet with decision makers, systems owners to define business requirements and resolve business system issues
    • Responsible for identification of business needs, documentation of business requirements, and technical specifications for use in the design of reports for commercial information departments (targeted reports for projects programs, initiatives and / or areas of concern identified in consultation with business)
    • Responsible for researching data anomalies and issues
    • Ability to conduct ad hoc research projects, incorporating project design, data collection and analysis with presentation to senior management
    • Lead projects or special assignments as required



    • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as: Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems
    • Analytics software capability including experience with MS Access, MS Excel
    • Working knowledge and willingness to train on Cognos and/or SQL
    • Data management and reporting
    • Experience with risk and financial analysis, audit and control activities
    • Analyst with experience in complex cross-functional business challenges
    • Experience in credit risk management for automotive finance or banking preferred

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Robust problem solving capabilities, excellent data analysis skills
    • Self-starter, with the ability to examine large data sets and highlight patterns, anomalies, relationships and trends
    • Analyst with experience in complex cross-functional business challenges
    • Ability to manage deliverables according to a project plan
    • Analytical mindset, business results oriented, ethical, high integrity and leadership
    • Demonstrated successful organizational and communication skills, creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize.
    • Solid quantitative and data management skills
    • Innovation and problem solving
    • Must possess the ability to prioritize assignments to meet required deadlines
    • Exceptional communication (verbal and written), presentation, project management, and overall leadership skills
