Starting Hourly Rate: $14.66

Nature of Work:  Instructs golfers in basic golf skills. Responsible for supervision of structured class activities, teaching private individual lessons, individual lesson plan generation, and care of instructional equipment.  Responsible for group lessons when necessary. May exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Required Qualifications:  Extensive knowledge in fundamentals of the golf swing, the game of golf, the USGA Rules of Golf, and etiquette. CPR/AED and First Aid certification required by start of employment. Please note your certification must be from an organization that has been approved by the Bureau of Community and Health Systems, Child Care Licensing Division. Desirable Qualifications: At least four years teaching experience and PGA or LPGA membership. 

Work Schedule:  Because the nature of golf course operation, holiday, weekend and evening hours are a necessary aspect of the working schedule.
